A Curator Note,

Since the opening of this website in 2006, John Minck's HP Narrative has been my best source of inspiration for this work. John's story has given me important insight to the Hewlett-Packard company culture, and all the legendary people who built this exceptional industrial success story.

Without John's contribution, the HP Memory Project had been limited to a collector showcase, because I never worked in the culture of an HP factory, so I instead focused on the HP products story. John Minck frequently offered me help, enhancing the Memory Project with the human side of the HP story.

John recently agreed with an idea I had for a long time, to let me edit and reformat his "Inside HP" Narrative for a direct website reading. We have also added more photos and expanded the content. This is a real honour for me, and an achievement for the HP Memory Project.
