The HP Model 614A and 616A UHF Signal Generators

The Model 616A was the first Ultra High Frequency (1800 - 4000 MHz) signal generator manufactured by Hewlett Packard, following a previous US Navy design. It was introduced in the 1948 general catalog, and the Model 614A (800 - 2100 MHz), in the 1950 catalog. But both generators were described in the same May-June 1952 issue of the Hewlett Packard Journal.
