Running the 3048 Phase Noise Measurement Program to Display the Configuration in use. A programmable Function Generator is added to the standard configuration, an HP3325A at address 717, as shown in the picture below.

Running this test is fully automated with the 3325A included in the system address list. Measurement of calibrated spurious signals injected in the 11848A interface are made at 5.5 Hz, 55 Hz, 550 Hz, 5500 Hz, and 55 KHz. The resulting graph, for our own system, is displayed below.

A table listing of the calibrated spurious signals, absolute value measured and possible deviation, can also be displayed using the second menu option.
